New to DMS? You’re in the right place.

Our events are designed for anyone — especially first-timers.

WHAT IS DMS TIME TRIALS?

DMS is Edmonton’s grassroots motorsport series where drivers race the clock, not each other.

We run Autocross and Track Sprint events at Stratotech Raceway, just 15 minutes north of the city — safe, friendly, and beginner-friendly.

You don’t need experience, fancy mods, or a fast car.

If you can drive your car to the event, you can probably race it here.

FAQ

1. Do I need racing experience?

Nope. Anyone can do it.

2. Is it safe?

Yes, it’s the safest way to get into competitive motorsports. It’s just you, an open track, and the clock to beat. The chances of injury or damaging your car are low.

3. What do I need to do my car?

Not much—just make sure the maintenance is current, there’s no oil leaking onto the ground, and all loose items are cleared out.

4. Can I share a car with a friend?

Yes. 2 drivers can share one car.

5. What happens if it rains?

Events happen rain or shine. In cases of severe weather, events are canceled and rescheduled.

6. Do I need a roll cage?

No roll cage is required.

7. How much seat time do I get?

A 30 minute open practice session followed by 8 timed runs.

8. What time?

Events on weekdays run from 5:00 PM to 9 PM, while weekend events are held from 9:30 AM to 4 PM.

9. How much?

$99 to $169. The earlier you register, the less it costs.

10. When do I register?

Sign-ups are done online before the event, and spots often sell out weeks in advance.
