The 2026 DMS Time Trials Season Is Complete!

Another season is officially done.

From May through September, drivers battled it out across 9 events featuring both StratoCross autocross and StratoSprint track sprint competition at Stratotech Raceway.

There were close battles, plenty of laughs, new friendships made and, most importantly, a whole bunch of drivers taking their first step into competitive motorsports.

More than 150 different drivers competed with DMS this season, with action across all four classes right through to the finale. Several championship battles came down to the final event of the year: The StratoCup.

Thursday nights once again proved to be a huge hit with Edmonton-area drivers, with every Thursday evening event selling out weeks in advance.

One thing we're especially proud of is that the atmosphere DMS has become known for continues to grow. Competitive when the clock is running, but welcoming, relaxed and fun in the paddock. Whether you're chasing a championship or showing up for your first motorsport event, the goal has always been to create a place where you feel like you belong.

Our revamped classing system also completed its first full season. The goal was simple: keep classing easy to understand, avoid unnecessary restrictions and create classes that actually make sense for the types of cars local drivers bring out. Overall, the feedback has been extremely positive, and we'll continue refining it where needed.

Four well-earned championships after a season of competition.

Champions can expect a group meetup in early November where we'll hand out the custom 2026 DMS Championship Plaques.

Onward to 2027

We're already looking ahead.

Expect much of what made the 2026 season successful to return, along with a few key upgrades and tweaks based on driver feedback to keep improving the events without losing what makes DMS... DMS.

And one upgrade we're particularly excited about:

A completely new state-of-the-art timing system is coming for 2027.

Even better, it's being designed, built and tested locally by drivers who compete right here at DMS events.
